Ten Affiliates Elected to National Academy of Sciences

Ten members of the ’s research, education, and alumni communities are newly elected to the. Election to the Academy recognizes “distinguished and continuing achievements in original research” and is widely considered a mark of excellence in science. It is one of the highest honors a scientist can attain.

Among the affiliates elected to the Academy this year are , Fellow and former co-director of the Embryology course;  and , Whitman Center Scientist and former co-director of the Physiology course.
