A new system that allows WHOI Library patrons to comprehensively search the library’s holdings went live on July 8. Called PRIMO, it facilitates searching across collections: journal articles, books, the and WHOI archives and even the Woods Hole Open Access Server repository. Searches can also extend to a global network of millions of records from PRIMO library partners.

PRIMO also introduces patrons to new workflows for checking out books, renewing them, and placing holds.

If you are having any trouble navigating PRIMO, please contact the Library staff for assistance (e-mail library@mbl.edu; 508-289-7002). The Library space in the Lillie Building remains closed, but the Library staff is available to help retrieve items from the stacks.
