to Welcome "Blue Economy" Interns

The is offering a new internship opportunity to Massachusetts students: The Blue Economy Internship Program (BEIP).

BEIP, which is open to students attending Massachusetts public high schools, community colleges, and state colleges and universities, offers experiential learning opportunities, from research to communications. It is supported by a grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Students will have the opportunity to build their professional experience, skills, and knowledge related to the life sciences, technology, and the blue economy, which the state defines as the "sustainable use of ocean resources for economic growth, improved livelihoods and jobs, and ocean ecosystems health."

BEIP internships are open in a variety of departments, including research, microscopy, environmental health and safety, administration, and more.
